Last week, I actually won a softball award! It was totally a surprise to me. I never expected to win anything and could not believe it when my name was called to come up to receive that award. I just started playing on a softball team this past spring. Because it was my first year, I really did not feel that I played all that well. I did try very hard though to do my best. I guess the coach must have recognized this. My award is engraved with my name, the name of the team, and the year that we played. This award will make a lasting treasure and will remind me of all of the great times that I had!
