A new smart phone application related to World of Warcraft was recently released.  The application, Healbot, is a “free, stand-alone iOS game that simulates World of Warcraft boss fights from a healer’s perspective.”  In the game you are trying to have your boss zero out before you do, just like what happens in Azeroth. 

A screen displays six different health indicator bars – one is for the boss and the others represent those playing in your party.  At the bottom of the graphic are three buttons, light, medium and heavy, which represent different levels of healing you use to restore health while the boss is attacking.

Two different modes of the games exist.  In the automatic mode if one person dies, the game is over.  You have the option to turn this feature off for a more authentic experience, where if one person dies the game carries on but gets harder each time a member of your party is killed.
